Privacy and account data

About this notice
This notice explains how L2Basic.com processes data on its website and in the account portal at ma.l2basic.com. You can contact the project at [email protected].
What the account stores
The account stores your email address, account identifier, verification status and connected sign-in services. When you use a password, we store its cryptographic hash, not the password itself. Authentication events include timestamps and technical security data such as IP addresses.
Why we use this information
We use account data to sign you in, confirm ownership of your email, connect sign-in methods, recover access, prevent abuse and respond to support requests. Verification and recovery messages are technical account messages.
Google, Discord and other sign-in services
If you choose an available external sign-in service, it confirms your identity and may provide your email and basic profile information. We keep a hashed identifier of the connection and your account email. Provider tokens are used to verify the sign-in and are not retained in the account database. We do not request access to your mailbox, contacts, private messages or permission to post on your behalf. Each provider also processes data under its own privacy policy.
Hosting and technical services
Account data is stored on the project server hosted by OVHcloud. Cloudflare provides website traffic protection and technical email delivery or forwarding. These services process the technical data needed to provide their services. Project administrators may access information needed for support and security. We do not sell account data.
Cookies and retention
The portal uses session cookies for sign-in and request protection. The website remembers your language and interface preferences in cookies or browser storage. Account data remains while the account is maintained; security logs and backups can contain earlier records. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of your data.
Your choices
You can disconnect a service in Account โ Sign-in methods, provided another working sign-in method remains. Disconnecting a service does not delete your L2Basic account or the account held by that provider. Follow the data deletion instructions below to request deletion of your L2Basic data.
